Winter in SoCal Blog Hop and Freebie

Hello everyone! Welcome to our 2nd annual SoCal Winter Blog Hop and Giveaway. I am so excited to be teaming with so many talented  K-2 SoCal bloggers to share with you all my favorite things to do in SoCal!

I must admit is seems a little funny to talk about what we do in the winter in SoCal because our idea of winter is very different than most of the country! Some of you all are having snow days and crazy snow storms, while here in sunny Southern California we still hang out by the beach! Seriously, we do!

Although, I live in Anaheim, traveling to the beach is only a 25 minute drive! One of my favorite restaurants is a rooftop restaurant in Laguna Beach right on the shore with a beautiful ocean view! It is a popular place to visit on any sunny winter day!

You can tell that it's "cold" outside because I'm wearing a sweater!

Traveling during winter break is a must to help destress! What better way to destress than to visit other fun California towns. I'm not sure if Santa Barbara counts as part of Southern California but it definitely is on my top 5 list of favorite places to visit! Although Santa Barbara is not small it still has a small town feel which I love! In December, I was able to get away and enjoy this beautiful town.

  

Santa Barbara has so many cute shops and areas to explore! I fell in love with this little Public Market! It has the best little shops inside! My favorite being the bakery, of course!

       

Last, up on my favorites list is hanging out in Old Town Orange. Orange, California is known for it's homes that date back to the 1920's. There are a ton of restaurnant and antic shops! My favorite thing to there is to go on the Wine Trolley. 

The trolley took us around all of Old Town Orange stopping at different restaurants. Each restaurant we stopped at, brought yummy food samples for everyone to try. And while on the trolley, we got to drink a ton some wine! So food and wine... add a bunch a friends in the mix and you've got the best time ever planned!

So Laguna Beach, Santa Barbara and Old Town Orange! These are my favorite SoCal places. Thanks for stopping by in this blog hop!
