New Year…New Ideas…New Possibilities

I am linking up with the gal's from Primary Possibilites for the new year!

To celebrate the new year, I will have everything in my store on sale 20% off Dec. 31st through January 2nd! (I will remind you of this again below.)

Wow…2015! I can't believe it's already a new year.

Many people make resolutions for the new year. Over the years, I've learned the simpler you make them the more likely you are to keep them.  Being a new year and all, I firmly believe that new possibilities are always around the corner.

Personally, my husband and I are going to be moving forward with adoption.  I've prayed a lot about it and I firmly believe we are being called to look into this and be open to it.  Will it work out for us? I honestly don't know but I do know that I am open for whatever God has planned for us.

Also part of the new year is the chance to be Puppy Parents!

This is Mila. She is Queensland McNab mix and hyper ball of fur.

I have never had a dog…

my husband has never had a dog…

but my Christmas wish was a puppy and I got one. (I was a good girl this year.)

If you've ever had a puppy, you know what this last week has been for us. She is crazy, hyper, and horrible at following directions….but I love her.  How is it possible that after one week I could love this little dog so much?   Anyway… I am certain that 2015 will be filled with lots of adventures with this little pup!

Lastly, in 2015 I want to focus on writing more. As an instructional coach, I get to work with different grade levels. The one thing all grade levels have in common is the rigor of writing expectations. Our students need to be able to explain their thinking whether they are close reading, stating their opinion or or solving a math problem.

I created a 2015 New Year Writing Activity: Reflections and Resolutions just in time for the new year. Students will reflect on 2014 and make resolutions or goals for 2015!  This will have the students writing about something interesting yet relevant! To add to the fun, they will also get to make their own new year's hat!  Regularly it will be priced at $3 but for today and tomorrow it will be on sale for 50% off! Make to check it out at my store!

I wish every reader a Happy New Year filled with lots of joy, love, laughter and blessings.
