I haven't been blogging a lot lately. We've had a lot of family stuff come up, both happy and sad, that have taken me away from creating new stuff for my students, my blog and TpT.
I am excited that it's March... I'm kind of treating it like my January. I'm using it to start fresh with a lot of things. (No New Year Resolutions though....they never seem to happen.)
To start the month with a BANG! I'm linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy Fourth Grade to bring you this month's currently!
Listening to silence in my home and The Lumineers in the background. After mass today, we all went to lunch. When we got home everyone went to lay down. Me... I'm enjoying the quite with some background music and finally getting to blog.
Loving that I am going to start Whole 30! Eeek! I am also a little nervous but I want to be positive about this choice and making better choices for my health. Sometimes, people, ok... sometimes I tend to look at eating healthy as a chore... I want to be proactive about what I put in my body. If it's not helping, it's hurting. After 30 days, I will be successful. (I just figured out that by next month's Currently, I'll have completed 30 days!)
Thinking that I love March and St. Patrick's Day! I will get to use these fun Math scoots with second graders.
This division math scoot is excellent for those kiddos that are just starting to work on division. It has both types of problems: making equal groups or equal shares.... which is really important. All the cards are in word problem form so that the students will need to think about how they want to tackle the problem!
No pressure second grade... but coins and money is only taught in second grade now. Ahhh! Kiddos will definitely get a lot of practice with these task cards! They will be able to practice both coins only and bills with coins.
Head over to my store to check them out! The best part is each scoot is only $2!
Needing to make time to pray and read the bible! I've been trying to do a daily reflection during this season of Lent. I ordered the She Reads Truth plan called Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross. I haven't been so good at keeping up each day.
Spring Break Plans are not in March for me... boo. Our Spring Break starts the day after Easter Sunday. So I don't get a break until April. I don't really know what I'll be doing. My best friend moved to Denver recently, so visiting her is definitely a possibility. For sure, I plan to create. I will be a busy little bee trying to upload products to my store!
My Spring Break isn't until April too:( but I plan on using that time to finish up a few items too. Prayers and Hugs!!

I totally understand having a hard time making time for prayer and Bible study. I recently started a new linky party called Worship Wednesdays in order to challenge myself to stay in His word. The linky is a place for you to join up with a blog post containing a quick song, verse, or experience that has encouraged you in your faith during the week. I hope that people will be able to read the posts for a mid-week pick-me-up. I would love for you to join up sometime! :D I also linked up with the Worksheets Don't Grow Dendrites study today. I am looking forward to studying the book with everyone. Oh, and I LOVE The Lumineers!
