My nephew is spending the weekend with us so I am working away with the sound of Lego Chima in the background.

Loving

I can not get enough of summer!  To enjoy this awesome weather, I've been haven lunch at restaurants that have outside seating available. That is definitely a perk that I can't do during the school year. 

Every summer, I try and do as many things that I can't normally do during the school day. So… I like to take long walks. I hang out at Starbucks and actually sit.  Lounge by the pool. But my favorite…. is I take a nap. Yup… I turn on the AC, wrap myself in a soft blanket and rest my eyes!

In July, I got to Hawaii to visit my best friend and in August I will be going to Denver. I've never been to Colorado so I'm extra excited for this trip! 

Thinking

TpT is having their back to school sale tomorrow!!! Do you know what this means… I get to buy all the clip art that I have been saving up for and keeping in on wish list!

Pirate for a Day is one of my favorite! I love talking like a pirate and this is just filled with fun stuff for a whole day of being pirate. It's perfect for anyone that has a pirate theme this year in their class!

1st Day

So teachers have inservice that start August 18th but the are optional! I always go though because I learn so much… so I might as well say my start date is August 18th.  Officially teachers go back August 28th and the kiddos go back right after Labor Day, September 2nd.
