#teacherslovesummer

Are you done with school??? Almost done???

I have 8 more days. 8. More. Days.

Yes, I am counting down. I am excited for my summer to begin.  My bloggy friend, Mary, from A Classroom Full of Smiles posted about her 3 summer goals.

Made me wonder… what are my summer goals?

Ummm…. sleep. rest. lounge.  Can you tell I'm exhausted. … 'Cause I am.  I caught a bug and these last few days all I want to do is sleep.

Although the above three are very much my goals… I'll lump them all into one goal.

Goal #1: Relax
I want to take time to relax. This is when I will get to sleep, rest, and lounge. I will add going to the spa, spending some time outdoors, and spending some time at the pool. All are acceptable as long as I feel relaxed!

Goal #2: Travel
I will be going to Hawaii and Colorado.  I've never been to Colorado before… so I am so excited.  I'm especially excited about Hawaii because I get to visit one of my best friends and her 2 adorable boys! While I'm there I plan to catch plenty of sun and just enjoy the beauty of that island.

Goal #3: TpT
Is this on everyone's list? I want to be ready for September. I have so many ideas of things I want to create and so little time. My little store is definitely growing. I only have about 30 products in my store. I do have a magic number in mind that I'd like to reach by September… hopefully I can hit it.

Now here's something funny I realized… and it's all true too!

After I've met Goal #1 then I will work on Goal #3. Goal #3 can be worked while I'm doing Goal #2 but not while I'm doing Goal #1. Of course, the better I do with Goal #3 the more I can do of Goal #2. Goal #2 can most definitely help with Goal #1. (I'm thinking of sandy beaches and a pina colada in my hand…that super relaxing.)

  1. I love your goals, and I agree, I think TPT is on everyone's list!! Have a great time in Hawaii! We were lucky enough to go in 2012, and I can't wait until we go back in 2017!! What part of Colorado are you going to? We drove through last summer, but I'd love to go and spend more time there, it was beautiful!!
