Time to Relax

I've been looking forward for this week for awhile now… okay since the beginning of March. I love my kids dearly but I'm ready for a break.

Here is my to-do list:

  • sleep
  • sleep-in (since I won't have an alarm set!)
  • snooze (which happens after you sleep in, but aren't quite ready to get out of bed)
  • lounge (when you are done snoozing but not ready to get out of your pajamas, of course)
  • lounge some more (after you change out of your pajamas but that's all you had energy for)
This is my idea of a perfect spring break. I do live in sunny Southern California so part of my lounging could be done outside.

Some more fun stuff I have planned:
  • Have lunch with friends ('cause this can't happen during the school day)
  • Go to for a walk around the beach ('cause I only live about 15 min from the beach!)
  • Go the gym (maybe… could walking at the beach be enough workout???)
  • Visit with friends
Should I have anything productive on this to-do list?????
  • Finish creating a big TpT unit on collaborative learning groups (Stay tuned.. more to come!)
  • Create a new product
  • Plan for May and Open House
Lastly, since it is Holy Week. I plan on going to church for some special events. I am taking time to pray and reflect during this Lenten season and prepare for Easter.

I think this is a good plan… a little bit of work and whole lot of rest!

Did you have Spring Break already? Or is it this week? Any fun plans?

  1. Enjoy your break! My break starts this Friday! Woo hoo! I think walking on the beach TOTALLY counts as gym credit. :)

  2. Laura, my break starts this week and I'm going to the Poconos in Pennsylvania with hubby. So there will be much sleeping and lounging! :) Just found your blog through the TPT forums today, and became your latest follower.
