Wow…An Award already!

I was honored on Saturday when I read the  I was nominated for the Liebster Award. Then, this morning I got a second email and was nominated twice. Wow!

Really… I feel like I should be in a ball gown going up to a podium to receive this award.   So just for fun… let's pretend that I am someone really cool accepting this lovely award on some fancy-smancy award show ready to give my acceptance speech.

When you picture me walking up though, don't think of Jennifer Lawrence falling as she walks up the steps….

… think of someone more graceful!!

"Thank you everyone so much for this Liebster Award. I am in shock right now! There were so many amazing nominees and I am so honored that the Academy aka Jenn from 2ndgradesnickerdoodles and  Brittany from Language Arts Bliss have chosen me for this award.

I'd like to thank my designer, Megan, for all the long hours she put into this lovely blog and to my amazing husband who is always supportive and is my number one fan. I love you, Sweetie. (To which I am waving to…. and blowing a kiss to).

And lastly to my fans (or blog followers) with whom this blog would not be possible… it is my joy to write for all of you. I only hope that you will continue coming back to my blog and reading all about my adventures in teaching. (Holds up Liebster Award) Thank you… "

Whew… that was fun. I really think I can go into acting now! I've got my speech down!

No?

Well… then I will stick to teaching.

Since I've been nominated for the award, I need to answer lots of questions, share some facts about myself, award it to 5 other bloggers and ask them some questions too. So, stay tuned that will be coming up after a commercial break… I mean on my next blog post...gotta stop thinking like an actress.
