My Liebster Award part 1

Yay… I get to talk about myself … which is good because it's a great way for you all to get to know me better. 

For the Liebster Award, I need to answer 11 questions, tell 11 facts about myself, and select 5 bloggers to give the award to.  

Today, I will answer the 11 questions.

I thought it would be craaaazy to try and answer 22 questions and keep everyones attention for so long.  It worked out too that  some of the questions overlapped so I am selecting 5 from each gal that nominated me to make a total of 10 and 1 bonus questions which they both asked rounding me out at 11 questions answered.

1. What is the best teaching tip you have ever received?

Can't remember who told me this but it is so true. "Your to-do list is never ending. It is ok to set a limit on how late you will stay at school." I set a time that I need to leave by and try and do as much as can. I am ok leaving stuff for another day.

4. What is your favorite dessert?

I looooove sweet stuff so this is a hard one. I think I have a lot of favorites. I would guess my all time favorite is ice-cream BUT I don't just have it for dessert! I like to have it all the time. All. The. Time.

5. Big plans for the summer?

Yes!!! I will be going to Hawaii to visit my best friend who just had her second baby. I will be going with 2 other best friends…. so we are going to have a besties reunion! 

6. Describe what you do when you have 30 minutes of free time:

I did have 30 free minutes today and I chose to nap! Naps and I are best friends! We like to chill together.  The other thing I like to do is read but sometimes that leads me right back to my best friend, a nap.

8. What item can you not make it through the day without?

My cell phone… (hanging my head in shame)… I need my self phone with me at all times. I like to check my email all the time. Pinterest is probably the one app I use daily!

1. Which of your blog posts is your favorite?

6. Do you plan out blog posts in advance or are they more spontaneous?

Both. I have a list of possible blog post enteries but sometimes a spontaneous one might come up! That's what makes writing fun.

7. What is your favorite restaurant?

Hands down, my favorite restaurant is P.F. Changs. I love Chinese food. I could probably every night. My husband wouldn't be too happy about it though.

9. Which do you prefer: Pinterest or Facebook?

Pinterest!!! I am on there for at least an hour a day. It's just so much fun.

11. What is the best thing you have ever bought from Teachers Pay Teachers?

Oh… this one is tricky. I think my current favorite is Reader's Notebook for Informational Text by Michael Frierrmood. It is pretty amazing. He included everything my little kiddos might need to be successful with informational text.

3. If you were not a teacher, which other profession would you choose?

I would want to be an interior decorator or a wedding planner. I love all things girly and they both go hand in hand for me. Although, with interior decorating you have the take in the male perspective a little bit.
